How To Make Healthy Chocolate Protein Pancakes

These chocolate protein pancakes are absolutely delicious. Great if you’re working out and wanting to incorporate more protein into your diet. If not, just omit the protein powder!

What you will need for one serving (about 3-4 pancakes):

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of chocolate protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Toppings such as strawberries or peanut butter


  1. Crack 2 eggs into a bowl and whisk
  2. Place into mixer jug (I used a Nutribullet which works great) along with oats and banana
  3. Blitz for 30 seconds
  4. Add dry ingredients (cocoa powder, protein powder and cinnamon)
  5. Blitz for further 45 seconds
  6. Lower half a cup of the mixture into a pan on medium heat
  7. Heat through until bubbles appear on the surface
  8. Flip for another minute
  9. Stack, top and enjoy!
